It’s been a little over a week and a half without a post (I apologize for that) but I’m back on. This week has been all things pizza. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t you worry, I got you covered.  Nairobi Pizza Festival has been happening all through this week. You get to buy two pizzas for the price of one at over 20 different restaurants. How cool is that?

The festival ends today night so you still have time to be a part of it. All you need is a pizza passport which is free. Head over to Nairobi Pizza Festival’s website or EatOut Kenya and get that done if you don’t have one already.

So, we decided to try out Artcaffe (Garden City Mall) and have a taste of their pizzas. If you haven’t been there, please go. It’s a pretty chilled place with really good service. We were served by Brenda. She does an amazing job. They have a good variety of pizza which I didn’t mind. I was going for a meaty pizza so my choice was easy this time J. The pick was the crispy bacon and the pollo pizza.

For drinks I went for the Cappuccino milkshake which I had never tried before and the wingman had the chocolate chip cookie milkshake. If you are a coffee lover like me, the cappuccino milkshake is for you trust me. It’s a heaven of cold coffee in your mouth. Loved it.

The chocolate chip cookie milkshake did not disappoint. Their milkshakes range between 350-400. The pizzas were a plus for me. The pollo pizza was a mash up of barbecue sauce, coriander, chicken and some good cheese. The sauce brings everything to life. The crispy bacon was sprinkled with some cheese which I loved.

I called dibs on the remaining pizza to have for dinner (I still do that J ) I’ll definitely be going back for some more pizza soon. The prices for their pizzas range between 1100-1300. It’s worth it. If you are not a pizza kind of person you can go and try out their pasta which is next on my list. If you try it before I do, please share.

Next destination for pizza = Mambo Italia.

Love Eat.

Spread the love
